Horseshoe Bend Adventure Session| Elora + Nic
Elora and Nic’s Horseshoe Bend adventure session was MAGIC! Coming all the way from the East Coast’s Virginia, they wanted to soak in and experience all the best of Arizona while they were here. The day before their session, Elora and Nic said I do at an intimate wedding in Slide Rock State Park in Sedona before we headed up to some of my favorite spots in Page, AZ.
On the day of their shoot, it was a rainy stormy day up in Page. I was SO excited – I love shooting in the rain!
Not only is it a rare sight for us desert dwellers, but it adds so much romance to the day. The three of us embarked on a private tour down into the iconic slot canyons of Northern Arizona. If you’ve never visited them before, it’s an otherworldly experience and one that holds such a special place in my heart. We spent a few hours exploring the wind blown walls in the canyons and soaking up the stormy weather. It was pure magic the way Elora’s gown fluttered in the breeze and how we found lit up secluded corners to snuggle into. From the gusty tunnels to the soft light pouring in from the sky. Every moment, every image was special.
Their Horseshoe Bend adventure session was complete with a picturesque view of the show stopping river canyon.
One of the most iconic and well known landscapes of Arizona. It’s a breathtaking overlook with beautiful views for DAYS. Sharing these places with couples and being able to capture their reaction when they see an amazing location like this for the first time is something I truly love and treasure! It’s one of my favorite parts of my job, and I was lucky enough to share two of my favorites with Elora and Nic!
