Rocky Mountain National Park Engagement Session

Brittany + Hunter

I had been wanting to shoot at Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado for years, so when this adventurous couple booked their engagement shoot with me there I was so pumped! I got to spend a couple of days here hiking around and enjoying the incredible scenery and insanely big mountains. Also the wildlife!! The elk in this Colorado park were massive! One evening I got to watch a mama feeding her little baby during an insane sunset. It was pretty dang magical. I’m a sucker for animals so I was super pumped to witness that.  It would be so fun to own a little cabin in this area. I’ll just add it to my endless list of places I want to live in before I die. I had a blast exploring this scenic place with Brittany + Hunter and capturing their sweet love for each other. They are such a fun adventurous couple and were down to run around and play for their whole session. We had really good luck with the weather during this session. We were a little worried because it was dumping rain right before we started driving into the park but it cleared up just as we got to our first location! Then just as we were finishing up, the clouds started rolling in and down came the rain again. Thanks for waiting for us to finish first, clouds! Before we left, Hunter whipped out his guitar and instantly turned into a country star, serenading us(okay mostly Brittany).  I was actually blown away by his voice. He was amazing! I felt like I had just scored front row tickets to a concert in the mountains. It was the best. Thank you Brittany + Hunter for adventuring with me in Rocky Mountain National Park and for an unforgettable engagement session!
