Sedona Elopement at Sunset | Carol + Brandon

Carol and Brandon are probably the two kindest people I have ever met. I loved their adventurous spirits and how they made the best of every situation they were in. They had to cancel their original big wedding plans in Sedona due to Covid but decided a Sedona elopement was just what they needed instead!

They looked on the bright side of being able to elope with an intimate setting, less stress and made the absolute best of the day. It ended up being PERFECT!

Even though they decided just the two of them was just right, they made sure to include family and friends who couldn’t be there. While they got ready, Carol and Brandon both took the time to Facetime with their loved ones and It was really sweet! A total reflection of getting married in 2020, but a bright spot that meant the world to everyone. I could feel the love their family had for them and it was really a special part of the day.

After their first look we headed to the ceremony location complete with a double diamond arch that showcased Red Rock country and an intimate table for two topped with flowers the color of the sunset, champagne and a charcuterie board of my dreams! Carol and Brandon soaked in the desert surroundings as Mr. and Mrs. until the sun started to set. Then we headed to my favorite spot, Merry Go Round rock for a romantic session high in the sky! Carol’s veil was a showstopper in the desert breeze making for the most magical images that I still can’t get enough of!

But the night didn’t end there, heading back down to our cars, we realized Carol and Brandon’s keys were missing after the bumpiest ride in our RZR up to Merry Go Round rock. Guessing they likely fell out on the ride, we searched and searched to no avail. Not wanting them to spend their wedding night searching for keys, we dropped them back at their resort in time for their dinner reservations. But my husband and I headed back to the trail determined to find those keys and save the day! Worried it would take hours in the pitch black, we were shocked when BAM there they were a few miles down the trail! We kept laughing saying how 2020 this situation was! Life never quite goes as planned but if you do it with someone you love, it’s pretty dang fun!
