Coastal Olympic National Park Elopement | Rachel + Teddy

I absolutely adore Rachel and Teddy! We instantly bonded over our sense of adventure and I freaking love them! Rachel and Teddy are from West Virginia and decided on an Olympic National Park elopement for their big day! I love the fact that they had never even been before but let their sense of adventure guide them to one of the most magical places on the coast of Washington. We landed on Ruby Beach as the perfect location for their I do’s where I scouted a secluded spot on the beach for their ceremony. We had the ocean and beautiful islands in front of us, and gorgeous driftwood and trees and mountains behind us. Truly the best of all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer.

Rachel and Teddy wanted an intimate ceremony and they absolutely got it!

With only Teddy’s daughter to witness, their ceremony on Ruby Beach was private, secluded and simply magical. Post vows, the newlyweds were serenaded by an AMAZING violinist as they danced in the ocean breeze and sea mist.  It was probably one of the coolest first dances I have ever photographed. Christie, the violinist, walked around them while she played as they danced and it was MAGICAL. I still get goosebumps thinking about it!!

We roamed the coastline finding quiet corners for romantic moments among the driftwood and rock formations and took our time walking through the sand and taking in the views. One of the best things about elopements is how the day is so incredibly peaceful and there’s so much time to soak in the big and little moments. 10/10 recommend running away somewhere adventurous to say I do. Rachel and Teddy, thanks for inviting me along on your adventure of a lifetime!
